Super Wide
Fat is where it's at. Where the Black Sabbath hit the gym everyday our Limited Edition Fat Sabbath did two hours of dead lifting then hit town on a search for a Fray Bentos fix. Like Ozzy in those first post Sabbath benders.
The Fat Sabbath rolls heavy on super wide and chunky Continental Twin-duro tyres with a whopping 4.00 x18 on the rear and front, this is the widest front tyre we do on any of our models, in fact we have to fit an extra wide front mudguard to cover it. so if you are a bona-fide chubby chaser then maybe this wide load is for you.
As with all of our Black Metal bikes the Fat Sabbath runs all black 18" wheels with blacked out spokes.
Twisty Slamming
To accentuate the fat wheels we opted for slightly narrower and higher blacked out Renthal handlebars and black diamond pattern grips, perfect for hauling this little steam roller through the traffic or slamming through the twisties.
For parking your ass we designed an ultra thin diamond pattern black seat to match those grips. the seat is of course hand made by our guys here in Birmingham.
Flat Black
When it comes to colour it really is a no brainer- flat black is one of the colours, the shortened rear aluminium mudguard is finished in flat black as well as the wider front mudguard. Flat black shocks keep the bike firmly planted on the road and are full stainless steel satin black exhaust system emits that unmistakable deep thump that you will only hear from a Mutt.
Black aluminium indicators with dark smoked lenses come as standard along with a satin black headlight grill protecting the upgraded halogen headlight and our LED aluminium black tail light up the large posterior of this little chunky beauty.
Matt Bronze
We didn’t think it was possible to make the Fat Sabbath any slicker, but the limited edition bronze tank looks so sexy it hurts. Flat black shocks compliment the new colour-way and keep the bike firmly planted on the road, while our full stainless steel satin black exhaust system emits that unmistakable deep thump that you will only hear from a Mutt.
Black aluminium indicators with dark smoked lenses come as standard along with a satin black headlight grill protecting the upgraded halogen headlight and our LED aluminium black tail light up the large posterior of this little chunky beauty.
New Features
All new Mutt’s have few little subtle upgrades that you may not notice at first but take a closer look and you'll see some nifty little touches you won't see on other bikes.
First off, we have new LED indicators hewn from a solid block of aluminium by the process of CNC and mounted on a machined stainless steel arm. We’ve also now got machined aluminium headlight brackets too, that set up makes for a pretty tidy front end.
Moving back a bit we get to the handlebar clamps, we now have fully CNC'd clamps coated in a super durable hard anodised black finish.
As always with Mutt Motorcycles we use the skills we learned building one off custom motorcycles and machined aluminium is one of those cool processes that gives a motorcycle a true custom look. Machined fork caps and head stem nut, once again coated in a beautiful anodised finish, combined with the new speedometer surround this provides a beautifully finished view when glancing down at your speed.
One of our favourite new touches requires a bit more scrutiny, kneel down and take a look at the motor, we have a new CNC oil filter cap but look a little closer and you'll see some new machined valve covers on top of the engine reminiscent of 60's and 70's Brit bikes. That’s a little detail not everyone sees straight away but we like it.
Finally, we get to the chunky little posterior of a Mutt and you'll see four beautifully machine CNC nuts holding the rear shocks on.
We've also been busy with some sheet metal work, we've designed a brand new angular sump guard and matching rear master cylinder cover giving the bikes a lower slung more aggressive look, Bruce Wayne would be proud of them.
